California Preparatory College was conceived in an effort to provide an alternative in Vocational Education. We only meet on Saturdays and our tuition is low. Our students are working people who do not have the luxury of taking time off in order to further their careers. Most are barely making ends meet and are wise not to encumber themselves with thousands of dollars in student loans.

Our focus is in the Medical field, specifically catering to C.N.A.’s who wish to utilize their experience, in accordance with BVNPT Rules and Regulations, to become Vocational Nurses. The 54 hour Pharmacology course will satisfy one requirement. It will also qualify graduates to work as Pharmacy Assistants, if they desire. The NCLEX-PN Review course will prepare qualified candidates to take the California State Licensing Exam.

CPC is not able to guarantee that the BVNPT will immediately grant every graduate the acceptance to take the NCLEX-PN Exam. Each candidate’s experience will be verified by the BVNPT. If they are lacking in any of the required areas, they will be given the opportunity to fulfill those areas of experience. Upon completion of the requirements they will be permitted to take the exam. The 54 Hour Pharmacology course will not have to be repeated.
